Today was a bit of a slow start. I had lunch with Freya and Birger, before heading out again. I was going to pick some things up at the shops, but as I rode past the Aquarium decided to reminisce instead. I distinctly remember a huge building, full of fish and insects and reptiles, a magical place full of unbelievable creatures! It’s still a pretty cool place, but I’m sure that the building must have shrunk over the last 25 years. It’s old, so it only makes sense that it’s smaller now.
None-the-less I had a really great afternoon strolling through the whole three floors (including a crocodile area which was once the biggest in the world)
Eventually I went across the road to a cafe and updated my blog for a bit… Yes, I’m slow in writing these, but I’m catching up! 😀
I almost lost track of time, but managed to leave just in time to head over to Vincent and Dianas place for a BBQ at their new Apartment. The place is pretty awesome – fantastic views only a few minutes out of the city center.
Vincent cooked a really great BBQ and we all chatted for hours, until well after sunset, on all sorts of topics from work to travel to politics. I had such a great time that I totally failed to take photos of anything BUT the view. Next time!
They kindly offered for me to stay for the night too, so no late-night ride back needed tonight. Thanks for the fantastic evening guys!
Really nice to read about your journey, thanks for taking the time to do this! 🤗
You’re welcome! 🤗 I’m so happy that you’re all enjoying it!
